Architecture award - entry information

前言

請告訴我們,您是否為孩童們創造了一座具有想像力的建築物、場所或者空間呢? 您是否在一座設計精巧的建築物裡與孩童們相處作為您的工作呢?請告訴我們該建物的設計者吧! 建築物包括0至10歲的孩童所使用的場域,看護中心、兒童之家、提供兒童及其他年齡層綜合服務的處所、兒童遊戲場、甚至是給孩童使用的學校巴士站之類的街道家具。 設計案必須在 1999年12月至2005年1月間完成。

2.平面、剖面與立面圖尺度為1:100
3.照片
最多6張長寬250mmx200mm 彩色或黑白照片,並包含簡單敘述。簡報可有1至2張A1尺寸的地景圖,和約500字的文字敘述。
4.影象
強烈鼓勵使用影象手法或電腦3D成像,長度為5分鐘英文簡述。
5.簡報敘述與基地資訊以不超過1000字為原則,並盡可能包含下列所需資訊:
設計概念與宗旨,如何轉化與實現在建築物。任何關於材料、顏色、形體、配置與IT使用的創新或標準工法解說。此設計如真達到設計概念與宗旨,是以什麼形態達成?設計過程來至使用者(包含小朋友)的建議。詳細敘述設計過程中,與夥伴和曾經體驗過此建築或空間的使用者。此次從中獲取什麼經驗,於往後類似案件可作什麼程度上的改變?

得獎規則
評審: 蘇格蘭皇家建築協會 與蘇格蘭兒童機構將邀請各界(包括專業領域)人士參與最後評鑑作業。
評審過程包含上述程序及下列要點

  1. 簡報清晰度
  2. 設計整體相對概念的回饋與挑戰
  3. 過程的表現
  4. 結果的表現
  5. 學術理論的運用
  6. 環境空間的表現

於2005九月一日公佈得獎者,並於蘇格蘭皇家建築師網站與蘇格蘭兒童機構網站展示得獎作品與相關訊息

All information should be submitted in the form of one CD-Rom with written authorisation for use for exhibition and publication. Please indicate that you have included the following information in your entry.

1. Information about the project
Names of client
Description of users
Architect and designers
Contractors
Form of procurement and building contract used
Construction costs per metre squared in euro (cost of building including fit-out)
The original brief – a summary
Construction period and completion date

2. Plan(s), Section(s), Elevations, @ 1:100
3. Photographs:
max 6 @ 250mm x 200mm colour or black and white or preferably, a
presentation (below).

Presentation: suitable for display on maximum of two landscape A1 boards, plus written document of up to 500 words.
4. Video:
entrants are encourages, but not required, to include a video or 3D visuals (five minutes maximum) in English.
5. Supplementary description and background information: maximum 1,000 words.
This should cover as much of the following as possible and as appropriate to your entry:

The project’s ambitions and aims, including pedagogical objectives and how these have been realised.
Any innovative approaches employed, for example materials, colours, form, layout, use of information technology.
Has the project achieved its aims? How was that assessed?
A statement from users – including children if possible – about the design process
Details of your engagement with stakeholders during the design process and their experience of using the building or place.
What has been learned from the process, what might be different next time?

Award rules

Judging: The award will be judged by a panel of judges appointed by the Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland and Children in Scotland. Their decision is final.

Winners will be informed by 1 September 2005 and details will be published on the Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland website and Children in Scotland’s website.

Language: The competition language is English.
Eligibility: Architects and designers worldwide.
Liability: The Royal Incorporation of Architects and Children in Scotland accept no liability whatsoever for damage however caused to any entry during transit, throughout the competition and during any subsequent exhibition.
